Dr. Kaur opened Dental Implants and Periodontology of Massapequa in 2014. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Sciences (DDS) in 2004. She then completed her residency in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry in 2007. She is a Board Certified Periodontist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Kaur is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and maintains many other memberships with professional organizations in the field of dentistry and periodontology.
Dr. Kaur was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society) in 2004. She received the Master Clinician Award in Periodontics during her residency. She also runs the Interdisciplinary Womens Study Club – Women in Network. She has presented at various conferences nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kaur is committed to her profession and is known by her patients for her kind and gentle manner. A resident of Massapequa, she is married to Dr. Tej-Preet Singh, a neurologist and they have two sons, Jason and Navi.
Dr. Kaur, along with Dr. Jacqueline Katz, started Interdisciplinary Women’s Study Club – a nonprofit women’s organization. The goals are to acknowledge the achievements of our chosen profession. Our ultimate objective is to enable our members to develop the highest level of interdisciplinary comprehensive care for their patients. Also, to foster camaraderie while they hear from distinguished lecturers. A portion of the proceeds will go to women charities to help other women.
