Procedures Offered

Periodontal Regeneration. Periodontal regeneration refers to procedures that are done to repair the damage caused by gum disease.
Guided Tissue Regeneration. This is a procedure used to regenerate lost bone tissue. The gum tissue is opened to access the damaged area. All of the diseased tissue is removed and a membrane along with the bone graft is placed over the bone to allow it to heal.
Growth Factors (Bone Morphogenic Proteins). The use of growth factors in periodontal surgery promotes healing and regeneration of damaged tissue, resulting in faster recovery.
AlloDerm RTM. AlloDerm SELECT™ Regenerative Tissue Matrix (RTM) has been a widely accepted solution for soft tissue applications. Applications include root coverage, gingival augmentation, soft tissue augmentation around implants
Pocket Reduction Surgery. When gum disease is uncontrolled for a long enough period of time, it causes damage to the jaw bone that results in the development of deep pockets between the teeth and jaw. Pocket reduction surgery reshapes the bone to eliminate these spaces for the purpose of keeping gum disease from recurring.
Sinus Lift. A sinus lift is a surgery that adds bone to your upper jaw in the premolar and molar areas of your mouth. To add bone, an incision is made where the premolar and molar teeth were previously located. Once the bone is exposed, a small circular shape is made in the bone to access the sinus. Once the sinus is accessed, the sinus membrane is gently pushed up and away from the upper jaw. Once this is done, bone graft material is placed into the sinus space to change the shape and provide support. Once the bone is in place, the incision is closed and the healing process begins.
Extractions. A tooth that can not be saved with restorative materials may need to be removed. Before removal of the tooth, the area will be numbed with anesthesia. The tooth is loosened from the jawbone and surrounding ligaments and tissues with a gentle rocking motion. Once it is loose, it is gently removed. Stitches may be necessary after the removal of a tooth.
